The GREEN
SUBURBANITE
The GREEN SUBURBANITE
provides educational outreach to steward the transformation of lifestyles and practices for more sustainable and resilient suburban communities. The mission of the GREEN SUBURBANITE’s campaign is to educate and guide suburbanites from disposable to sustainable practices in their personal lives, dwellings, and businesses.
Suburbanites constitute 70% of Americans, thereby making them a majority of the population with an opportunity to play a significant role in transformational social change from 2020 to 2030 that could result in minimizing the overall effects of climate change. Personal transformation of a suburbanite should be measurable and standardized through a set of metrics to provide transparency regarding validity and flexibility. The educational tools to prepare a personal citizen score will be shared through the Snook Solutions website and corresponding social media platforms, which will initially host the GREEN SUBURBANITE as an individual advocacy campaign.
Upon retrieving your environmental footprint, the GREEN SUBURBANITE guides you toward a green transformation, by addressing these five areas:
-
Water
-
Food
-
Energy
-
Waste
