There are many stakeholders within the Basin, which has increased since the destruction caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011. The following is a short list of stakeholders, which are focused on topics related to Otter Creek, such as watershed restoration and climate change.
Snook Solutions is situated in Rutland City, Rutland County, Vermont. Rutland is located within the Otter Creek Basin watershed ecosystem (the Basin) in central Vermont. The headwaters are located in the Green Mountains and Taconic Mountains and drains through the valley, located in Rutland County. Downstream of Rutland, the Otter Creek encounters towns within the valley, such as Proctor and Brandon. Otter Creek finally crosses into Addison County where it reaches the towns of Middlebury, and Vergennes on its way to Kingsland Bay and Lake Champlain.
