The mission of Snook Solutions is to provide ethical stewardship to inspire individuals, organizations, and communities to overcome their climate change concerns by understanding common issues through developing their ecological literacy and identifying innovative solutions to address the most urgent problems affecting the most vulnerable. The initial informational campaign through social media has been strengthened through additional community engagement with members of the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors in Vermont, New England, and throughout the northeast. Application of a sustainability pedagogy through voluntary educational outreach can help to provide equity to those individuals most in need of climate, social, and environmental justice. Snook Solutions hopes to liberate an individual’s thoughts from their daily struggles of survival in an effort to decrease their unintended consequences and instead increase their unique potential toward developing an ethical advantage in everyday life through applying sustainability and resiliency best practices.
